Help Save Cowy — My Sweet Corgi Fighting A Serious Pain

Howdy everyone,

My name is Thi, and I’m a current student at Texas A&M University, trying to care for someone very dear to my heart — my puppy, Cowy, a gentle and loving Cardigan Welsh Corgi.

Cowy has been diagnosed with deep pyoderma, a severe and painful skin infection, likely due to post-grooming furunculosis. Her condition has rapidly worsened, causing intense itching, open lesions, and constant discomfort. On top of that, she’s also experiencing polyuria and polydipsia (excessive urination and thirst), and her vets are still working to determine if this is a secondary complication or a sign of a deeper issue like an endocrine disorder.

Despite everything, Cowy remains gentle and trusting. She still wags her tail when she sees me, even when she’s clearly in pain. It breaks my heart to see her suffer, knowing she depends on me to help her heal.

As a full-time student, I simply cannot afford the extensive medical care she needs. Her diagnosis and treatments are ongoing, and the costs are adding up quickly — medications, follow-ups, special care, and tests to rule out other conditions.
