Eric and Corals Story

Coral was rehomed to Eric after his battle with cancer to be his emotional support dog. Because during his battle with cancer and having to rehome his last Labrador, fast forward 2 years later and Coral came along. She has been helping Eric with his daily exercise routines and just being his best girl watching his every move to make sure he does everything to include her. Coral all of a sudden became very ill and was taken to the emergency vet on Saturday October 11 to discover she had unexplained bleeding in her abdomen. Dr Burkhart at Roanoke Island Animal Clinic performed surgery and a blood transfusion as soon as she was stable, and reported that she is in recovery currently and we all are praying that she pulls through so that she can return home to Eric.
