Copper is our beloved family dog, and right now he’s facing a life-threatening emergency. A few days ago, Copper swallowed a bunch of yarn. Since then, he hasn’t been able to keep any food or water down, and he can’t pass the yarn on his own. The veterinarian told us that without emergency surgery, Copper has a very high chance of dying soon. We are absolutely heartbroken and desperate to save him.
I am currently in between jobs, and our family simply doesn’t have the funds to cover the cost of Copper’s surgery. We found a veterinary clinic in Eden Prairie called Mission Veterinary Hospital that helps low-income families, but they require a portion of the cost up front before they can begin the surgery. Even the pre-op appointment is more than we can afford right now. The funds raised here will go directly toward Copper’s surgery, his medication, any overnight stays he might need, and the follow-up appointments to make sure he recovers fully.
If you can donate anything at all, it will help us get closer to saving our family fur baby. Thank you so much for reading Copper’s story and for any support you can give. Your kindness means the world to us and gives us hope that we can bring Copper home healthy and happy again.
