Hi, my name is Christa, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family and our sweet 5-year-old daughter, Aria.

Three weeks ago, we brought home Cookie Rainbow Tate, an adorable Ragdoll kitten who instantly became part of our family. Cookie was a long-awaited gift for Aria, who had been asking for a kitten for ages. Watching them bond was something truly special — snuggles, bedtime routines, and tiny paw prints on her heart.

But our joy quickly turned into heartbreak.

Just last week, Cookie became unwell and tonight was rushed to SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital). He is now in ICU on oxygen and fighting for his little life. After tests, we learned the devastating news:

We are waiting on a full cardiac work-up to determine the treatment plan, but we are preparing ourselves for high veterinary costs. We’re doing everything we can to give Cookie a chance — because he deserves one. He is still so full of love, trust, and innocence despite his suffering.

Unfortunately, the breeder we bought him from is not cooperating or offering any support — emotionally or financially. We feel deeply let down, but we refuse to give up on Cookie.

Why We Need Help

Vet costs — especially ICU care — are mounting rapidly. We are expecting thousands of dollars in bills.
