On 3/2/25 I had to rush my sweet Colbie Jack to the emergency vet. She was showing signs of THC ingestion (disoriented, confused, drooling, having a hard time breathing). This is not the first time she's been taken to the vet for these symptoms so I knew something had to be actually wrong. After many tests and scans the vet told us she has Hepatic Encephalopathy which is a condition that causes brain swelling due to the liver not being able to properly process toxins. This morning she will have an ultrasound which will tell us if she needs surgery on her liver or not. She's currently in the ICU, and the costs are going up and up. She's only 3 and the love of my life and I have to try and do everything to be able to get the care she needs. Any donation would be so so appreciated <3
