Help Save Coach Joseph Oyebog – A Lifeline for a Lifesaver

For over 25 years, Joseph Oyebog has dedicated his life to building futures—one child, one racket, one dream at a time. As the founder of the Oyebog Tennis Academy (OTA) in Cameroon (www.otatennis.org), he has provided free tennis coaching, food, shelter, and education to tens of thousands of underprivileged children. To them, he is more than a coach—he is a father figure, a mentor, and a beacon of hope.

To know Joseph is to know a man who is all passion and completely selfless. Now, Joseph needs our help.

Joseph has been diagnosed with pancreatitis, which is leading to severe liver damage and a host of other serious and life-threatening complications. His condition is rapidly deteriorating, and the local hospital in Cameroon cannot handle the complexity of his case. Doctors have strongly recommended that he be medically evacuated via a medical Jet to a major healthcare facility in the United States, where his wife and children currently reside.

We urgently need to raise funds to cover the costs of his medical evacuation, treatment, and postoperative care.

As you could imagine, the costs are staggering, including over $150K for the medical evac Jet from Cameroon to the US, ongoing medical treatment, post-operative and hospital care, and, with great hope, the cost of his rehabilitation so he can return to continue his mission at the Oyebog Tennis Academy.

The funds will also support his family in the US and help sustain the academy in his absence. This is not just about one man’s survival. It’s about the ripple effect of saving someone who has spent his life lifting others.
