Hi, my name is Michelle. My son, Jonah takes skate lessons with Unity Skate Camp. Today, my sons coach and my best friend, Coach D’s 7 month old dog, Benson was involved in an accident. A careless woman hit Benson and then just drove away.

Benson is currently at an emergency veterinary hospital. He is stable, but he has multiple internal and external injuries and will need surgery to give him a fighting chance. Coach D is an amazing asset to this community and I know many of us have received help, support, and love from him and his crew. This is our chance to give back.

If anyone has anything at all to give, please consider helping Benson so he can start his road to recovery. I know this community is like family. No amount is too small!!

Thanks to the Grace and generosity of ALL of you.. and the love and support of his family and friends.. Benson had surgery to repair his broken hind leg. He is home and recovering. ❤️❤️❤️ This GFM page will remain up for the next week or 2 to assist in recovering the cost of this unexpected accident.
