Hi, my name is Zoe, and I’m a 20 year old college student studying medicine with dreams of one day saving lives. Right now though, the life I’m fighting hardest for is my 6 month old kitten, Cleo.
A little over a month ago, my life was turned upside down when Cleo was diagnosed with FIP, a disease that until recently, was considered a death sentence for cats. The good news is, there’s hope. There is a treatment, but it’s expensive and time sensitive.
Cleo is still just a baby. She should be chasing toys, climbing furniture, and curling up next to me while I study. Instead, she’s on daily medication, in and out of vet visits, and undergoing regular bloodwork to monitor her progress.
I’ve been working as much as possible while juggling full time school, but the costs are piling up fast. I had it under control at first and truly thought I could manage this on my own, but between the emergency vet visits, treatment costs, and constant monitoring, I’m drowning.
So I’m here, humbly asking for help. Every dollar goes directly towards her treatment, medication, and vet care. Every donation, share, or word of support brings us one step closer to giving Cleo the life she deserves.
She’s fighting with everything she’s got. I’m doing everything I can. And now, I’m hoping maybe someone out there can help us fight a little harder.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Zoe & Cleo
