My mother, Christine, passed away just two weeks ago, and I am facing the heartbreaking reality of losing the last physical reminders of her. Our shared storage unit holds her remaining belongings and keepsakes, but it is at risk of being auctioned after May 20th because we are behind on payments. I am hoping to raise enough to cover the overdue fees and the cost of a truck rental to move her things to a secure unit that a generous friend has offered.

Christine radiated love and kindness toward everyone she encountered. She was always willing to listen without judgment and had an incredible ability to love all as if you were one of her own. Her warmth touched so many lives, and her memory deserves to be honored and preserved. These keepsakes are more than just objects—they are the last sentiments and memories I have of her, and losing them to auction would be devastating.
