Hi, my name is Brooke, and I’m reaching out for help with my dog Chip, my almost 9-year-old corgi who’s been having serious issues with his eye. He has an appointment with a veterinary ophthalmologist on July 16th to determine the best course of action. Right now, we’re looking at the possibility of a graft and extensive medication to try to save his eye. If those treatments don’t work, he may need surgery to have it removed.
The initial expenses are already around $1,400, and depending on the treatment plan, the total could reach up to $4,000. I’m doing everything I can, but with my recent divorce, I am having a difficult time with the expenses.
Chip means everything to me — he’s been a constant source of comfort for nearly a decade. Anyone who knows me knows how deeply I love animals and how much Chip means to me. He’s been by my side for everything — my best friend, my companion, my heart. Asking for help like this is incredibly difficult, but I’m doing it for him. Any support, whether it’s a donation or just sharing this, would mean the world to both of us. Any proceeds that may exceed what his expenses are will be donated to surrounding non-profit rescue groups for dogs.
