Me and lily have just found out our beloved 12 year old cat Chippy has been diagnosed with a malignant sarcoma (cancer) behind his eye. If you know us you know our cats mean absolutely the world to us Chippy is our best friend and this news has completely devastated our family. We have 3 other cats Daisy, Pumpkin and Luna but Daisy has been with him since the start. They have an unbreakable bond I can’t bear to imagine what she would be like without him here.

Despite his diagnosis, Chippy is still being his loving and affectionate self and we want to do everything we can to help him fight this. The next step is a CT scan to determine the extent of the tumour and whether treatment or surgery may help him. Unfortunately the veterinary costs are already extortionate. With the scan and ongoing care expected to cost over £6,000. We hate asking for help like this but we’re desperate.
