Help Charlie: Assistance Needed for Surgeries

Hi all,

My name is Milo and I am creating this gofundme because my cat Charlie suffered an extreme accident, and the emotional toll as well as the physical expenses have risen to amounts we were not prepared for.

He fell 5 stories, striking his face on a balcony as he fell, leaving him with several fractures in his jaw, a hole in the barrier between his nose and mouth, a broken leg, and several gashes. He is barely eating with the assistance of a feeding tube and requires specialized surgeries and intensive care. He has bounced from an emergency hospital to a surgeon and now to a dental surgeon, leaving us with a minimum cost of $15,000, not including follow-ups, rehab, medication, and the ongoing care he’ll need to heal and regain any quality of life.

We know that having pets is an expense that comes with risks, but we never expected them to get this high. My mom is just barely letting me do this because she has always figured these kinds of situations out herself, and she is, but the financial repercussions of this are too heavy for me to let her get her pride in the way. That being said, we are just looking for any help, not for the entirety of our bills to be paid by others.
