Hi my name is Kim, I have started this go fundme page to raise funds for my daughter and her family.

Our family is reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for help for our beautiful little puppy, Charlie.

Charlie is only 4 months old and already such a huge part of our lives. He’s full of love, cheeky personality, and brings so much happiness to our home every single day. He isn’t just a pet — he’s family.

Recently, Charlie became very unwell and had to be rushed to emergency vet care. After multiple tests and specialist assessment, the vets believe he has a liver shunt, a serious condition that prevents his liver from working properly.

Without surgery, the prognosis is grim. With surgery, Charlie has a strong chance at a healthy, happy life.

Right now, Charlie needs to be stabilised at home for the next month before he’s strong enough for surgery. He’s on a strict prescription vegan diet, daily medications, and requires ongoing vet visits and monitoring.

The financial side has been overwhelming. So far, we’ve already spent around $4,500 on emergency care and testing. The specialist CT scan alone will be about $4,000, and surgery is expected to cost at least $9,000 — not including ICU care, medications, follow-ups, or the continued costs over the coming weeks.

These expenses are far beyond what we can manage on our own.

We’re asking for any help — big or small — to give Charlie the chance he deserves. Even sharing this page means the world to us.
