Help Save Charles Street Shoe Repair

Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to hear our story. Since the State of Illinois implemented the policy for all nonessential businesses to totally close their doors our little shoe shop (Charles Street Shoe Repair), which is owned by my mother Catherine Antinucci, has been left with zero income for nearly five weeks. Businesses like ours do not qualify for unemployment nor PPP loans and Illinois has no idea when they will implement the Federal unemployment policy and if we will even qualify and all other loans and grants have been a dead end so far. All savings and lines of credit have been exhausted or closed and  all local banks and lending institutions have refused assistance. Any money kindly given will be used for rent , utilities, supplies and expenses to keep our little 3 generation shoe repair going and my mother can still run her business and make a living. For over 110 years my Great Grandfather, Grandfather and Dad survived every natural and economic disaster, war and pandemic and because they were still able to work, provide for their families and survive. We humbly thank you for listening to us and will be eternally grateful for any donations given. Every one is struggling through these most trying times and if you can't help financially please keep my Mother and I in you prayers as we are praying for all of you. Thank you ! #SmallBusinessRelief
