Casper is roughly 4 years old, he came into our cat family as a rescue from the streets back in August of 2024. He first showed up in July the day after catching another black cat that was also a stray which had been coming around sneaking food (which my gf appropriately named 'Sneaks'). At first after catching Sneaks we thought the cat issue was resolved then Casper showed up.
He was very friendly and was 'Trilling' on my patio which apparently in cat language is a friendly greeting. I took him in after trying extensively trying to find the owner. Both Sneaks and Casper were taken to the vet to get fixed and Sneaks was taken to Katie's Place to find his forever home. Casper really won our hearts over, he got along well with my other cats and I decided his best home was here, as the shelters are very full and not many people want to adopt black cats compared to others especially kittens.
Now Casper is facing a critical emergency medical situation which is why I am reaching out for help. He has fatty liver disease which has been getting treatment for several days at the Langley Emergency Veterinarian Hospital. He is showing improvement, slowly but steadily, and we want to really give him another chance. The vet bills are raising steadily as well.
If you are able to donate to help this magnificent kitty, we would be forever grateful. Every little bit helps as the costs have been very high.
