Cash has only been with our family for two months, but he means the world to us. When he first arrived, he was shy and unsure, but with time and patience, he started to open up and show his sweet personality. Just as he was beginning to feel safe and happy in our home, he developed a serious lump in his throat that has made it nearly impossible for him to eat. Now, he spends most of his time sleeping, clearly struggling and in pain, and it breaks our hearts to see him like this.
We’ve tried everything we can to get Cash the help he needs. I even told a local vet that I would give him up if it meant saving his life, but the response I received was devastating and made me realize how difficult it is to find compassionate care without the funds to pay for it. Along with the lump, Cash also has a split in his left ear that will need stitches. The cost of emergency surgery and recovery is more than I can afford, and I feel helpless watching Cash suffer when all I want is to give him a chance at a happy, healthy life.
Cash is a truly special dog. He loves car rides—something he’d never experienced before coming to us—and I’ll never forget taking him for his first pup cup. He’s brought so much joy to our lives, even making us laugh the first day we met when he tried to run away and yanked the leash right out of my hand. Cash deserves a chance to keep making memories and sharing his love. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing our story, will help us give Cash the life-saving care he needs. Thank you for caring about our sweet boy.
