My little dog's name is Buddy, and he is loved by everyone who knows him—but most of all by me. He is my heart and my soul's purpose to live. I have advanced stage 3 brain cancer, and without Buddy in my life, I would have folded up and given up. Buddy is my spirit, all I have in this world. Everybody else has abandoned me since discovering I was sick, but Buddy has never left my lap or my side. I refuse to do that to him now in his time of need.

Buddy loves to play with every animal in the area and always approaches them with a friendly heart. Recently, there was a big black dog running loose, and Buddy, not knowing any danger, went up to try to play. Tragically, the black dog attacked him and mauled him almost to death. I rushed him to the emergency vet, where they told me he needed much more in-depth examination to determine all the damage. I was only able to pay for the ER visit, but the vet wouldn't treat him further without payment upfront for x-rays and blood work, with much more needed for possible surgery, medications, boarding, and follow-up care. It took every penny in my savings and cash resources just to get the exam, and I am now completely tapped out. Buddy needs so much more medical attention, and he has suffered so much this past night.

All anybody has to do is meet my Buddy, and they will fall in love with him too. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to both of us. Thank you for helping save my best friend.
