Help save Brover

Hi, my name is Lea, and my family dog Brover has a 3rd-degree AV block and needs diagnostics and a pacemaker to live out the rest of his life. The AV block means that his heart isn't processing the electrical signals that cause it to beat and is only beating 20 times per minute as an emergency backup that can fail at any moment. With the pacemaker, he'll be set for the rest of his life.

We got Brover from a rescue shelter in Pennsylvania in 2016. When we arrived there were a bunch of dogs up for adoption that day and most of them were shy or aggressive. In the center of all of the people awkwardly inquiring about the other dogs, Brover was rolling all over the floor and begging everyone for attention with his huge eyes and disproportionately large ears. The people at the shelter told us they had found him as a puppy, homeless somewhere in Texas. We left with Brover within 15 minutes of seeing him. And he is just as ridiculous as he was that day 7 years ago.

The diagnostics and surgery are really costly. We are going through with the tests/surgery regardless, but my family and I would appreciate any help anyone is willing to give.
