Bright Eyes has been rescuing abandoned and unwanted cats and dogs since 1989. For over 35 years, we’ve given countless animals a second chance — but now, we’re facing closure.
Rising costs and a surge in abandoned animals have pushed us to the brink. Our monthly expenses exceed £18,000, covering vet bills (£8k–£10k), food (£1k), electricity (£1k), and essential upkeep. As a non-profit with no government funding, we rely entirely on donations and kind supporters.
Without urgent help, we have just 4 months before we’re forced to shut our doors — leaving countless animals with nowhere to go.
How you can help:
We receive no government funding and rely purely on the generosity of the public to help us continue our work.
Please consider setting up a direct debit or making a donation to keep our sanctuary open and continue saving lives.
Every coffee you skip could help feed or treat a neglected animal. Our animals — and the entire Bright Eyes team — will be forever grateful for your support. ❤️
