Help save Breanne Dalton’s life
Donation protected
Breanne Dalton is my 21 year old daughter. For the past year and a half she has been fighting Gastroparesis, POTS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Raynaud’s Syndrome and Adrenal Insufficiency. Since she was 15 she has suffered from Fibromyalgia, chronic migraines and was diagnosed with a brain cyst. She has lost 70 pounds in the past year and has been going to Oschner in New Orleans (approximately 2 hours from our home) 3 times a week. Breanne is unable to digest food -even clear broth or liquids make her throw up. She’s been going to the hospital 2-3 times per week due to dehydration from excessive vomiting. On Jan 15, 2018 she had a gastric stimulator (pacemaker) implanted into her stomach but so far it is not helping her at all. On May 2nd her doctors implanted a feeding tube directly to Breanne’s intestines bypassing her stomach. This is helping her a little bit but her stomach still doesn’t work. Her doctors at Oschner have referred her to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota and they are able to see her the last week in June. I, Lisa Dalton (her mother) am a single mother of Breanne and two other college age kids. I work as a part time bartender for tips only so I can stay home and take care of Breanne as much as possible since she’s been unable to work or go to school. I can not afford to take her to the Mayo Clinic and pay for our lodging and my food needs. Traveling to New Orleans every week has depleted our funds. I am desperately asking for help from friends, family and anyone who can help us to please do so. It has been horrible seeing my beautiful daughter waste away for the past year or so, and she needs to see if the Mayo Clinic can help her!
