❤️ Help Save Bow’s Life – A Pacemaker for Her Brave Heart ❤️

Rescued just a year ago, she’s learning to walk again – now her heart needs your help to keep beating.

Only a year ago, Bow was rescued from being put to sleep. At just 3.5 years old, she has already faced more battles than most dogs ever will, but through it all her spirit has never weakened.

Just a few weeks ago, Bow was paralysed in her hind legs. She needed emergency spinal surgery and weeks of rehabilitation. Against the odds, she pulled through. Step by step, she is learning to walk again. She still wobbles, but she is determined and her happiness always shows so much. Bow simply loves life and she loves everyone she meets.

But now Bow faces another fight, one that could take her from us in an instant!

She has a serious heart condition called third degree atrioventricular block. For now, her heart is compensating and she manages her daily life with her usual joy. But the truth is heartbreaking! At any moment her condition could change, leaving her at risk of collapse, crisis and even sudden death. We cannot wait and see for much longer and must act fast...

The only way to save her is to fit a pacemaker.

Her veterinary team is currently working on a careful plan to prepare Bow - Gently reducing her activity and using mild sedation to keep her calm and safe. Once the pacemaker is fitted, the first two weeks will be the most critical of all. Great care must be taken that the cable doesn’t dislodge before it’s firmly embedded.

We’ve already had to find over £10,000 to cover Bow’s spinal surgery, specialist hospital care and physiotherapy. Thanks to our wonderful supporters she has come so far. But now we need your help again, because young girl Bow deserves the chance of a future.
• Pacemaker surgery estimate: £4,800–£5,500 (includes first follow-up)
• Further follow-ups: £450–£500 (at 6 months, then annually)

Our target is £6,000 to cover Bow’s surgery and essential aftercare.

Bow’s story is one of immense courage, stoic survival and abundant love. Rescued from death row only a year ago, left paralysed just weeks ago, she has fought so hard for her second chance... and she is still fighting. Please, if you can, help us save her life. Every donation, every share, brings Bow one step closer to the future she deserves - a life full of love, happiness and the simple joy of being here.

Thank you, from Bow, her devoted foster mum Linda and all of us at Paws2Freedom.
