My baby is sick with Prostate cancer. It is a rare and aggressive disease. We will fight until it’s not fair to him anymore. THANK YOU so much for helping. It means the world to me.

11/4 Evening update

My mom and I went to see Boomer at the hospital post xray. He was pretty out of it and sleepy since he had been sedated. Luckily we got some positive news! His chest xray was clear of cancer which means it has not spread. Tomorow they will scope his urethra to see what our next options are. Thank you!!!!

Boomer is happy and comfortable hanging out at tufts being looked after by a bunch of humans. He currently has a catheter placed to help him pee. His prostate has partially blocked his urethra making it difficult to relieve himself on his own. They are going to do a chest xray and a scope of his urethra. The chest xray is to see if the cancer has spread. The scope is to explore options to allow him to empty his bladder on his own. One option being a stent, another option being lasering the tissue causing the block away to create a pathway. One step at a time…..

Big Booms is staying over night at Tufts. He is in great hands and we will learn more tomorrow. Send good thoughts! We need good news

I just got some very bad news that Boomer has prostate cancer. We can try to save him but it is going to cost a lot of money. I have spent $4,500 thus far and the surgery would be $10,000. I honestly do not know how much the after care would be - I really do not want to even consider putting him down. If anyone can help us I will be forever grateful.
