Help Save Bonnie with Urgent Blood Transfusions Needed

Hi, I’m Ashley and I'm reaching out for help to save my beloved 3-year-old dog, Bonnie. She is in urgent need of blood transfusions and ongoing medical treatment.

On Thursday 11th July, Bonnie turned 3 years old and I took her to puppy school to spend the day socialising with her fur-friends. When we picked her up from school her right eye was the size of a golf ball and hanging out of its socket. She presented with black bruising.

We rushed her straight to the 24 hour emergency vet where they sedated her to find out what was happening.

After extensive testings, Bonnie is bleeding from all her organs and has no platelets in her body. This means that Bonnie bruises easily, her eyes and mouth constantly bleed and her immune system is attacking itself.

She needs multiple blood transfusions and ongoing medical treatments. Despite her young age, she will require lifelong medication to manage her condition. Her playful spirit and loving nature make it even harder to see her go through this.

Bonnie will not be able to be released from hospital unless her platelet count increases and her internal bleeding stops. The cost of blood transfusions, surgeries, and medication is overwhelming. We need support to cover these life-saving treatments. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.
