Hi everyone, I never thought I would be in this position, but I’m asking for help to save my baby, Blanco. Blanco is only 2 years old and is a very loved and spoiled indoor cat. He occasionally goes out to the patio to get some sun and fresh air. Unfortunately, he got into some fishing line and started chewing on it. I later noticed string coming out of his backside, and we rushed him to the emergency vet. We were told that the fishing line has caused his intestines to bunch up internally, and without emergency surgery, he will not survive. The cost of this surgery is far more than we can afford, even after trying every option available. We are doing everything we can right now, including transferring him to another hospital in hopes of getting financial assistance, but time is critical. Blanco is my baby and means everything to me. He just turned 2 on March 13 and has so much life ahead of him. I don’t want to lose him, and I don’t want to have to make the decision to put him down simply because we can’t afford his care. The funds raised will go directly toward his X-rays, hospitalization, emergency surgery, aftercare, and medications. If you are able to help in any way, even a small amount or simply sharing this, it would truly mean the world to us. If you’ve ever loved a pet, you know they are family, and I just want to give Blanco the chance to live the life he deserves. If you know me, you know how much my pets mean to me. They are my babies.
