Help save Bibi the macaw from surgery.

Bibi is our loved Macaw who is egg bound. She hasn't been able to pass the egg so she will be requiring surgery. We rescued Bibi in November of 2023 before thanksgiving. Bibi is 16 years old. We got a call after her elderly parents died, nobody wanted her as she was considered “vicious”. When we received Bibi, she was kept in a very small cage which made her mean. With lots of love, our family have gained her trust, and she is no longer vicious. Bibi was beyond starving and skinny and was a few days away from death. We were able to get Bibi back up to the average weight of 1200 grams. Recently, Bibi stopped eating and we noticed something was wrong. Unexpectedly, Bibi was egg bound. She has been going through contractions for the last few days. We took Bibi to the vet and got her some meds to help pass the egg. Sadly, the egg has not passed, and she will be needing surgery if it doesn't come out by tomorrow (5/2/2024). Please help us keep Bibi alive since we cannot afford too. All help and donations are greatly appreciated. She is very dear to us, and we can't let anything happen. Our mother is a single mom and is barely supporting my brother and me. We have sold everything possible, and we are out of money to help Bibi. We have put many hours of love, care and training into Bibi, we are begging for your support.
