Help Save Betty Boop’s Leg ❤️
Donation protected
Meet Betty Boop, a sweet and smart young dog who urgently needs our help. Betty was hit by a car and brought to McCallum Centre Animal Hospital in Abbotsford, BC. Despite an investigation, no owner or responsible party could be found. Betty was officially surrendered to us, and now we are doing everything we can to care for her.
The Challenge: Betty’s hip joint was severely broken in the accident. To save her leg, she needs surgery that will cost around $6,000. Without this surgery, her leg will need to be amputated. We want to give Betty the chance to live a full, happy life with all four legs—but we need your help to make this possible.
Betty's Current Care: Right now, Betty is staying at our hospital, and we’ve made her a part of our family. She’s receiving proper medication to manage her pain, along with the nutrition and care she needs to stay strong. Despite her injury, Betty remains as bright and affectionate as ever—she truly is the smartest, sweetest dog. We are doing everything we can to make sure she’s comfortable, but the surgery is essential for her to walk normally again.
Why We Need Your Support: Betty was surrendered without anyone to cover her medical costs, and sadly, even local societies have been unable to assist. That’s why we’re reaching out to the community for help. With your donations, we can raise the $6,000 needed to save Betty’s leg and give her a future filled with love and mobility.
Where Your Donations Go: We want to assure you that 100% of the funds will go toward Betty’s surgery and care. We won’t keep any profit from this; if there are any leftover funds, they will be used for Betty’s future needs or to help rescue and care for another dog in need, just like her. Our priority is to give Betty the best possible life and to continue helping other animals in need.
How You Can Help: Any donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to giving Betty the surgery she needs. We’re also actively looking for a loving forever home for her once she’s recovered. If you’re unable to donate but know someone who can, please share Betty’s story far and wide.
Thank you for helping us give this precious girl the second chance she deserves! ❤️
