Help Us Save Benji – Our Daughter’s Best Friend
Hi, my name is Liseth, and I’m here with a heavy heart asking for help—something I don’t normally do. But right now, we are out of options, and I can’t stand by without doing everything I can to save Benji, my daughter’s best friend and our beloved family dog.
On Sunday, September 28th, we noticed that Benji wasn’t acting like his usual happy, energetic self. He seemed tired and down, which is so unlike him. We took him to the vet first thing Monday morning. They did a general checkup and checked for fever, but everything looked normal at first, so they sent us home and told us to monitor him.
By Tuesday night, things got worse. Benji was even more lethargic and began walking in circles, as if he were confused or disoriented. We knew something was seriously wrong.
On Wednesday, we rushed him back to the vet. They ran bloodwork—normal. Then a full blood panel—also normal. X-rays—nothing alarming. He’s been on several rounds of antibiotics and steroids, but we’ve seen no improvement.
We were planning to get a second opinion from another vet today, but after picking Benji up, we realized we had reached our CareCredit limit. We simply can’t afford any more treatment on our own, and it’s heartbreaking to feel helpless when someone you love is suffering.
Benji means everything to us. He is not “just a dog”—he is a part of our family. Watching him struggle and seeing the pain in my daughter’s eyes is more than I can bear. I know that with the right care, there’s a chance we can figure out what’s going on and help him heal.
We’re asking for $500 to help cover:
A second opinion
Medication and treatment
Continued veterinary care
If you can donate anything—even $5—or share this campaign, we would be endlessly grateful. Every little bit helps, and it gives Benji a fighting chance.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping us fight for Benji’s life.
With love and hope,
Liseth & Family
