Benelli is our beautiful "Covid baby" GSP. She is the sweetest, bestest girl in the world, and we love her so much.

On Oct 23rd, she got into my travel backpack where she found a container of sugar-free gum. Xylitol, the main ingredient in sugar-free gum, is toxic to dogs, and she almost immediately started having seizures and lost control of her body. We took her to the emergency vet where they stabilized her blood sugar and then sent us to the pet hospital for overnight care.

We love her with our entire being, but being a Catholic school teacher, I don't make enough money to cover this kind of debt. We are maxed out and would appreciate any help. It's very humbling to have to ask for help, but I need to save my baby. Any donation, big or small, would be so appreciated to go towards her care. We are devastated
