Hi, my name is Heather, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart. Our sweet Bella, who has been our best friend and family member for almost 9 years, is facing a critical medical crisis. Bella is not just a pet; she’s been a source of unconditional love, joy, and companionship, and we are desperate to get her the care she urgently needs.

Two weeks ago, Bella suddenly became ill and lethargic. After several vet visits, we learned that she has a tumor behind her right eye, which is causing extreme pain and pressure. In addition to this, Bella has been diagnosed with high calcium levels, a sign that the tumor may be cancerous. Further tests revealed that she has glaucoma, hypercalcemia, and an intraocular tumor, with suspicion of it being metastatic.

The ophthalmologist has recommended surgery to remove her right eye to relieve her pain and biopsy the mass to determine what type of tumor it is and whether it has spread. Depending on the biopsy results, Bella may need additional treatments, including chemotherapy. The surgery alone will cost $3,886, not including any follow-up treatments if cancer is found. Which would possibly add quite a bit more to the amount.

Unfortunately, we are struggling financially after going through several difficult years, including a tough journey with my husband's health. Right now, we are doing everything we can to make ends meet, but the cost of Bella's treatment is beyond our current means. Asking for help is never easy but I will do everything to help save her.

Update: 4/3/24

We are going forward with removing her eye, surgery is set for Monday 4/7 with our Vet. They will send the biopsy off and call us with the results 2-5 days. Please pray for Bella that she gets the relief she so desperately needs.
