Help Save Bella Rose: My Emotional Support Lifeline

My name is Nivek, and I'm reaching out for help to save my beloved emotional support dog, Bella Rose, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Bella has been my loyal companion and best friend since I adopted her as a puppy in 2016. She is not just a pet; she’s my lifesaver, trained to assist me with my anxiety by alerting me to panic attacks, providing deep pressure therapy during triggers, and even helping with crowd control.

Bella Rose’s loving and attentive nature has pulled me out of some of the darkest places in my life. I’ll never forget the day I brought her home; it was raining, and she was so sad and whining. Rihanna's "Umbrella" played on the radio, and I sang it to her, replacing "Umbrella" with "Bella." That moment marked the beginning of our unbreakable bond.

Recently, Bella Rose started experiencing severe health issues, including vomiting and an inability to hold her urine. The vet’s examinations, which included blood work, a urinalysis, and an X-ray, revealed a large mass in her abdomen that has displaced her organs, pushing them against her spine.

The next critical steps in her care are an ultrasound to determine the size and attachment of the mass, followed by a biopsy and surgery to remove it. The ultrasound alone costs $700, which must be paid upfront, and the biopsy is an additional $225. The total cost of surgery is currently unknown.

As a full-time student with limited funds, I have already paid $600 for the initial vet visit. However, I am struggling to cover the upcoming expenses, especially since I also care for my ill father who recently came out of the hospital due to heart failure. The combined costs of his medical bills, medications, and my own living expenses leave me unable to afford Bella's much-needed treatment.

I have turned to friends, family, and even considered taking out a loan, but I still find myself in need of support. My goal is to raise enough money to cover Bella Rose’s vet bills, starting with the urgent ultrasound. Every dollar raised will go directly towards her medical care.
