Hi everyone,

I’m raising money on behalf of my brother, Brian and my soon-to-be sister-in-law, Ashley, during an incredibly heartbreaking and unexpected time.

On Thursday, January 15th, our world was turned upside down when their precious dog was suddenly attacked by three dogs. The attack left her with multiple bite wounds, requiring immediate emergency hospitalization and stitches. Tragically, she also suffered a broken fibula.

As if that wasn’t devastating enough, they have since received the heartbreaking news that her leg will not be capable of healing naturally. Due to serious complications, they are now facing an impossible decision: amputation or having to consider putting her down. A time-sensitive surgery may be required as early as this week in order to save her life.

The medical bills have quickly added up. My brother and Ashley are also in the middle of planning their wedding, scheduled for August of this year. In order to give their beloved dog a fighting chance, they’ve already had to dip into their wedding fund and stretch themselves financially far beyond what anyone could have prepared for. We are raising money to help cover: emergency hospitalization, treatment, ongoing vet care, a critical, time-sensitive surgery, and rehabilitation costs.

More than anything, we are hoping that their soon-to-be three-legged baby will be there to see them walk down the aisle this August—healthy and still right by their side where she belongs.
