Hi everyone, I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I’m asking for help to save my dog, Bella. Bella is not just a pet — she’s family. She’s been by my side through some of the hardest moments in life, loyal, loving, and always there no matter what.

Recently, I was detained during a traffic stop after being accused of trespassing while fishing near a pond. I was not charged with a violent crime, and while I was being detained, officers attempted to look into my vehicle. During the incident, Bella somehow got out and suffered devastating injuries. After rushing her to the vet, we learned Bella has a broken femur and fractured pelvis. Time matters, and because of delays and the way the injuries are healing, the surgery may become even more complicated if we can’t act quickly.

To make things more confusing and stressful, I received communication saying they may be willing to reimburse expenses, but I would have to pay for treatment upfront first — money I simply do not have right now. I’m doing everything I can, including speaking with attorneys about the situation, but right now my main concern is Bella and getting her the care she desperately needs. If you know me, you know how much animals mean to me. Bella didn’t deserve this pain, and I’m trying my best to make sure she gets the chance to heal and walk normally again.
