Barb is a neighborhood-famous dog who was found on the street by David, along with her two pups. After being taken to the Westside dog shelter, Ricky brought her home and gave her a second chance at life. Barb is a mill dog, as shown by the tattoo on her belly, but she’s become a beloved part of the community, especially at her favorite local spot, the Little Marionette.
This morning, Barb woke up and began rolling her eyes, shivering, and foaming at the mouth. She wobbled when she tried to walk, and it was clear something was very wrong. After calling urgent care, we learned that Barb needs a neurology checkup, and the costs for her care are significant. Without this treatment, we may have to make the heartbreaking decision to put Barb down.
We’re reaching out to our community and beyond for help. Every donation will go directly toward Barb’s medical care, giving her the chance to recover and continue bringing joy to everyone who knows her. Please help us rescue Barb from being put down.
