Our family is facing an unexpected and heartbreaking crisis. My sister, Lauren, and her husband, Matt, recently rescued two precious kittens, Banoffee Pie and his shelter brother, Marty, after losing their beloved cat, Murray, to lymphoma. Banoffee has now fallen seriously ill, testing positive for COVID. He is lethargic, refusing to eat, and battling a high fever of 103.9. His doctors are deeply concerned that his condition could develop into Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a devastating disease.

Banoffee is only a six months old and finally settling into his new home, and we are doing everything in our power to give him a fighting chance. He has been hospitalized for intensive care, but the medical bills are quickly adding up and could exceed $10,000. We are asking for your help to ensure that Lauren and Matt don’t have to endure the heartbreak of losing another cherished pet so soon.
