My sweet 4-year-old dog Banksey urgently needs help. She’s the happiest, most loving girl, but right now she’s fighting for her life.

Two days ago, Banksey became very sick. We rushed her to the vet and learned she has bladder stones that caused a severe infection to enter her bloodstream. The infection is dangerous, and without emergency surgery and overnight hospital care in Traverse City, she won’t make it.

Banksey’s surgery and treatment will cost more than we can afford on our own, but I can’t imagine life without her. She’s my best friend, my family, and she still has so much life left to live.

Banksey is being treated at Traverse City Bay Area Pet Hospital. 

We took her to Omni vet in Traverse City Michigan where we payed 1,700 

They told us she needed around the clock care and monitoring and wouldn’t make it if we brought her home. the cost per night is $2000. She’s been there since Friday and is expected to be there until Monday. After she is stable she will need surgery to remove her bladder stones which cost between 1,500 to 4,000 dollars.
