Update:
It breaks my heart to write this, but Bane passed away.
After emergency testing and imaging, the doctors found a mass and suspected aggressive cancer. His spleen was enlarged and he was declining quickly. Despite everything we tried, his little body couldn’t fight anymore.
Yesterday, I held him in my arms as he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge. He wasn’t alone. He was surrounded by love.
Bane was only 2 years old. He was my best friend, my shadow, my comfort through everything. He never left my side — not indoors, not outdoors — he was always right there with me. Losing him has shattered me.
I am beyond grateful for every donation, share, prayer, and kind message. Because of you, I was able to get him emergency care and be there for him at the end without regret.
At this time, funds will go toward the emergency vet bill, cremation services, and the remaining balance from his hospitalization.
Thank you for loving my boy.
Ash
