Help Save Bandit's Toe!

Hey friends, family, and other animal lovers,

If you know me, Sophia, you have probably met my wonderful dog, Bandit. Bandit is an amazingly sweet, smart, and resilient dog. I adopted him 8 years ago and he has been my best friend and everyday companion ever since.

Unfortunately, Bandit has developed a tumor on his left foot, between his toes, that is growing at a rapid pace. Bandit's vet wants to get him into surgery to remove the growth as quickly as possible and we have scheduled the procedure for 3/27/23. This surgery is being done now to prevent it from getting to the point where Bandit would have trouble walking. Depending on the structure of the tumor, Bandit may need to have a toe amputated and will have a difficult recovery.

I am raising funds for this surgery as I am currently unable to afford the total cost and want to make sure that Bandit has the best chance to retain his mobility and health. Any and all help, no matter the size of the donation, will make such a difference to Bandit and me! I have been provided an estimated range of cost for the procedure by the vet and will post the true cost when I get the receipt on the 27th.

A little more about Bandit. I adopted Bandit from the SPCA in Philadelphia in 2015. He spent a year at the shelter before this and struggled with extreme fear and anxiety. Bandit has blossomed over the years from an extremely fearful dog to a still cautious yet confident happy guy. He loves to see his friends, play with his stuffed dinosaurs, do wiggles in the grass, and stick his head out the window of the car no matter the weather. Bandit is truly my best friend and I thank you so much for sharing and supporting this fundraiser.
