Help save Bamboosh: Fighting hyperthyroidism
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I need help, and it’s tough for me to ask. My cat, Bamboosh, has been my loyal friend for almost 16 years—born May 16, 2009—and he’s family to me. Recently, he’s been getting skinny and throwing up a lot, and after looking into it, the vet suspects hyperthyroidism, a condition common in older cats. It’s breaking my heart to see him struggle.
The good news is there’s a one-time treatment called radioactive iodine therapy that can cure him, not just manage it. The bad news? It costs around $1,500, including the procedure and follow-up care, and I just don’t have the funds to cover it right now. I’ve been told this could give Bamboosh a real shot at more healthy years, and I’d do anything to make that happen—he deserves it after all the love he’s given me.
I’m asking for any support you can offer. Even $5 or $10 adds up, and every bit gets us closer to getting him the treatment he needs. If you can’t donate, sharing this with someone who might help would mean the world too. Thank you so much for reading and for any help you can give Bamboosh and me—we’re so grateful.
