Help Save Bailey: A Puppy Fighting for His Life

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Gevorkian, and I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart. This is Bailey, our 8-month-old Maltipoo puppy — a joyful, loving little soul who’s now fighting for his life after being severely poisoned.

Just a few days ago, Bailey was his usual happy, energetic self. He had his morning walk, wagged his tail at everyone he saw, and came home like always. But within minutes, something went terribly wrong. He went into shock, began having seizures, and his condition rapidly declined. We rushed him to the Animal Specialty & Emergency Center, where he was admitted for critical care.

Bailey is now in a coma, unable to breathe on his own, and connected to oxygen tubes and life-saving treatments. The veterinarians are doing everything they can — around-the-clock care, neurological monitoring, medications, and specialized toxicology treatment — but his condition is extremely fragile.

This kind of emergency, intensive care, is incredibly expensive, and the costs are quickly rising. We never expected to be in a position like this, but we’ll do anything we can to give Bailey a fighting chance.
