Help Umar Fight Brain Damage and Severe Epilepsy
Donation protected
A 3-year-old child is fighting for his life. We need your help to save him.
Hi, my name is Mamurjon Toirov, and I’m fundraising for the baby of my close university friend — a kind and humble father from Uzbekistan whose son, Umar Rakhmatullayev, is suffering from a devastating set of brain disorders.
⸻ Who is Umar?
Umar is a beautiful 3-year-old boy who was born with a severe viral infection that affected his brain before birth.
As a result, he now suffers from:
• Hydrocephalus – dangerous fluid buildup in the brain
• West syndrome – a rare and severe form of epilepsy with constant seizures
• Cystic brain degeneration – permanent damage that affects development and movement Despite everything, Umar is still holding on. He cannot speak, walk, or eat properly — but with the right medical care, his seizures can be reduced, and he can start to gain basic motor and communication skills.
⸻ What Are We Raising For?
We are trying to raise £100,000 to give Umar a real chance at a better life. This amount will cover: • Urgent medications to control his seizures • Possible brain surgery to relieve hydrocephalus • Speech, motor, and neuro-rehabilitation therapy • Medical equipment and mobility support • Potential treatment abroad in Turkey or India, where advanced pediatric care is available • Unforeseen costs, travel, emergencies, and post-op recovery
⸻ How You Can Help ?
I’ve opened a separate UK charity account under my name, and I’ll be personally transferring all the funds directly to Umar’s father’s account in Uzbekistan. I will provide full transparency to any donor who requests it, including receipts, transfer records, and updates. Even a small donation can change the course of this child’s life. If you can’t donate right now, please take a moment to share this page — it truly helps more than you know.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with us. – Mamurjon Toirov
