Gizmo has been discharged and been brought home! He is on the mend ❤️‍

hiii, my name is Kat and I am the owner of a beautiful one year old tuxedo cat, Gizmo. he recently came into contact with a lily plant and now is being treated for potential kidney failure. he has to be in the vets for the next three days to be treated with IV fluids and have tests to check his kidney function.

this has fallen at a very unfortunate and high stress time and it’s going to be very difficult to acquire the funds to pay for his treatment. cats protection couldn’t help us, neither could blue cross or PDSA. the only option we have is to keep him treated at the vet hospital he is currently at

day 1 was £375 in total for the fluids and other medications and blood tests, and now for the next three days he has to be in the vets for more fluids which is £210 per day, and then a final £80 on the last day to run tests

I don’t expect anything at all but any help would be very very greatly appreciated I love my boy so much and he needs to be okay
