Hi everyone, I’m creating this GoFundMe for my best friend’s cat, Atlas, who urgently needs our help. A few days ago, Atlas developed what we hoped was a simple UTI. But things took a devastating turn. The infection spread quickly, and he is now in kidney failure. The only chance to save his life is an emergency surgery and intensive treatment that is far more than Kayla can cover on her own.

Atlas isn’t just a cat. He is truly Kayla’s pride and joy, her little shadow, and the thing she loves most in this world. He has been there for her through heartbreaks, moves, and some of the hardest moments of her life. Anyone who knows Kayla knows how deeply she loves him—he is family. Seeing him in pain and knowing cost is standing between him and the chance to get better is absolutely heartbreaking. But we’re holding onto hope, and that’s why we’re reaching out.
