Hello Beautifuls,

My amazing pup Athena, sadly, was recently diagnosed with skin cancer. We are both heartbroken to share this terrible news. Athena will need life-saving surgery in the upcoming weeks in order to give her the best chance at a full recovery. Her cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and removal of the tumor and nodes will be needed to remove as much of the cancer as possible.

I rescued my baby girl from the shelter at 2 months old and she will be turning 9 years next month. She has been a loyal companion, full of love and joy, and I can't imagine my life without her. She has gotten me through many rough patches, including losing my own father 3 years ago to this horrible thing called cancer. She has been my entire world for the last 9 years and any more time I can get with her, I will be extremely grateful for.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted animal lovers to help us cover the expenses as her surgery cost is significant.
