As an Inpatient Unit we are trying to raise as much money as possible to help keep our much needed specialist palliative care beds open. We were told on Tuesday that our beds are being reduced from 15 down to 6. This means less people will be able to have access to the specialist palliative care which we as an inpatient unit are best known for.

We were also informed that due to the lack of ICB/NHS funding 52 people are also going to be made redundant.
