Help save asena

My worst nightmare happened on Tuesday morning and ordinarily I'd never ever ask for help. It just doesn't sit well with me at all. My 17 week old Anatolian Shepherd puppy Asena was attacked, I've only had her 1.5 weeks. I don't know what caused it or why it happened. And I guess it doesn't really matter now.

She is insured. She is in Edinburgh Dick Vets - she has a punctured esophagus and a fracture to her C2 vertebrae (right at the base of the skull). How she even survived it I will never know. But she did!

She has no neural deficits, the fracture is stable and the neurosurgeon is hopeful that the fracture will heal without issue. But she would be on strict crate rest for several weeks.

She had an emergency CT Scan and surgery to repair her esophagus. There was 5 punctures.

Not even 36hrs of treatment and the bill is already over 11k. She has developed an infection around her neck, hence the swelling. Her only chance to survive this is another surgery to debride the wound and to have a special negative pressure wound dressing applied to help remove fluid and bacteria.

Asena has fight in her. She wagged her tail when she heard me and cried softly. It broke me. But If she has fight in her then I will fight for her!

The second surgery and ongoing hospital treatment will be an additional 10k+ (her insurance will cover 10k and I need to find the rest)..I will find as much money as I can but I worry I won't be able to raise enough in time.

Now I'm not asking anyone for money - all I ask is that you share my online pet shop Big Pup Stuff   www.bigpupstuff.co.uk and perhaps buy a collar/lead or treats/toys there instead of supporting the big companies.

Every penny will go to saving Asena. She didn't deserve this and she deserves every chance I can give her.
