On November 13, my friends Lindsay and Sarah came home from work to find their beloved cat, Arthur, hanging by his leg from the Christmas lights in their apartment. Heartbroken and panicked, they rushed their newly adopted furry friend to the emergency vet, only to find out the leg was broken and would require amputation. A healthy amputation with anesthetic designed to preserve the rest of Arthur's still-developing nervous system is painless and safe, but also costly, and we need your help in getting there.
