Help Save Armstrong's Hand

I hope all is well with you all. I am Liahona and I am starting this fundraiser for my brother-in-law, Armstrong, who lives in the Philippines. As a nurse, he had spent most of his time using his hands to care for other people, and as a father, to help raise my niece and nephew. Little did he know that one day his right hand would be severely infected with MRSA that nearly caused his hand to be amputated.

He rushed himself to the hospital due to an unbearable pain in his right hand that was already swollen last May 30, 2021. He was immediately admitted and was scheduled for operation which happened 2 days after he was admitted due to covid protocols. Though he was treated with antibiotics, it seemed that his hand was just getting worse. After his second operation just two days after his first, the doctor already told him that if the infection will not be addressed and arrested that his hand will be amputated most especially that most of the flesh on his hand had already been carved out and only a little left covering his bones. It was a blessing that before his third debridement operation, his bacteriology result came out and he was tested with MRSA so they immediately changed all his medications. Which immediately helped the doctors arrest the infection.

He is still currently in the hospital and has already undergone 8 debridement operations and 2 plastic surgery procedures to help save his hand. The family had already spent close to $15,000.00 (close to 700,000 pesos). Their hospital bills are still accumulating and they still need approximately $10,000.00 (approximately 500,000 pesos) to complete all the treatment procedures and also his therapy.
