Help Save Anthony’s Eye

Anthony Cerrato Salgado is a bright, happy 11 year old boy who’s life changed one year ago when his left eye was injured due to a tragic accident. Anthony attended a birthday party one year ago which changed his life ! The birthday party was in an apartment complex and he was playing with other kids. One of the kids pushed Anthony into a Maguey Plant where Anthony went face first and damaged his left eye completely. Memorial Hermann gave the diagnosis of Anterior dislocation of lens, left eye, Ocular laceration and rupture with prolapse or loss of intraocular tissue, left eye, initial encounter, Open wound of left eyeball,Total traumatic cataract, left eye, Vitreous prolapse, left eye. Anthony and his 2 siblings moved to Houston from Honduras 2 years ago which he is not able to get any insurance or help from the government, because he is not a U.S. Citizen. His mom Fanny Salgado a young single mom of 3 works very hard to try to pay all her families' needs and Anthony’s medical bills but she is not able to afford his surgery. The Doctor’s told her if Anthony doesn’t get his surgery soon he will never be able to recuperate his vision. Imagine as a mother seeing your child in pain and not be able to help him. Please help this young boy suffering day to day to get his surgery. Anything helps thank you everyone!

Anthony Cerrato Salgado es un niño de 11 años lleno de vida ! Anthony era un niño muy feliz y brillante pero su vida cambió hace un año a causa de un accidente trágico. Hace un año Anthony fue a una fiesta infantil que se llevó acabo en un complejo de apartamentos. Anthony jugaba con los otros niños cuando otro niño lo empujó hacia una planta de Maguey y Anthony cayó de frente lastimándose su ojo izquierdo. Memorial Hermann les dio el diagnóstico que estaba completamente dañado su ojo y el necesitara de una cirugía para recuperar su vista. Su mamá Fanny Salgado es una mamá joven y sola con 3 hijos. Fanny se trajo a sus hijos de Honduras hace 2 años. Por cual sabemos Anthony no puede recibir ninguna ayuda del gobierno por no ser nacido aquí. Fanny trabaja mucho para pagar los gastos de su familia y Aorah los gastos de Anthony y no le alcanza para cubrir su cirugía. Los Doctores le acaban de informar que Anthony necesita su cirugía de inmediato o perderá su vista de por vida. Imagínate como madre ver a tu hijo sufrir de día a día y sin poder ayudarlo.
