Help Save Ankur’s Life – Support His Liver Transplant Journey
Our beloved friend, Ankur Sinha (also known as Dipankar Singha), is a talented artist and gentle soul who now urgently needs our help. After a long and challenging battle with health issues, Ankur has been diagnosed with severe liver damage caused by Hepatitis C and is now facing liver cirrhosis.
What’s Happening?
Ankur started showing symptoms years ago: vomiting, pain, swelling, and eventually fluid buildup in his stomach. After multiple hospital visits and tests, he was diagnosed with both Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. Although he tried to get care through government channels, treatment was delayed, and his condition worsened.
Recently, Ankur finally started a necessary 3-month course of antiviral medication (Velpanex) to combat the Hepatitis C virus. This treatment is crucial for stabilizing his condition and preparing him for the next step.
What Comes Next
- Now–October 2025: Ankur continues his 84–90 day antiviral treatment.
- November 2025: Post-treatment evaluation and consultation with specialists to assess liver condition.
- Following the doctor’s advice: If cleared, Ankur will need to undergo a liver transplant, the only long-term solution to save his life.
Why We Need Your Help
Ankur cannot work right now because of the seriousness of his condition. He has already spent his life savings on tests, medications, and hospital stays. His family is doing everything they can, but the costs of ongoing treatment, evaluations, and the eventual transplant are overwhelming.
We are raising funds to cover:
- The remaining cost of medications and lab tests
- Specialist consultations and hospital visits
- Liver transplant procedures and related expenses
- Post-operative care and recovery support
