Help Save Ancient Ways

Ancient Ways, Oakland's well-loved metaphysical shop, has been serving a diverse and enthusiastic clientele for 31 years in the same location on Telegraph Avenue.

When the original owner of Ancient Ways retired in January of 2020, long time employee Don and his wife Sue purchased the business to continue the service to the community. Unfortunately, the store had to be closed in January for a state mandated earthquake retrofit involving major construction.  

We had hoped to reopen by mid March 2020, but COVID-19 and the Shelter in Place Orders have slowed  construction.  

While we wait for construction to conclude and decisions about retail operations resuming, we still have monthly expenses that have to be met, and while we hope to start ramping up soon, we need the help of our loyal following to stay afloat!
